Hello! I thought I'd take the time to play in Tiddly Inks Challenge #99 -- Make it like Marlena today. I got this digi Wryn Goes Caroling when it was first released and I colored her up but didn't get a chance to put her onto a card. And it's a good thing I printed up some of these Xmas Wryns a while ago cause my printer is all messed up now. So my love/hate relationship with my printer continues. Yup, in a hate phase right now.
So here she is finally on a card. I love these Wryns. So adorable and fun to color too. I added the holly die which is from CC Designs and a little gingerbread man button.
A little close up. I love Christmas but not so much Christmas music. Maybe I'm just tired of hearing the same stuff? But I do love these 2 songs. The first is Willie K's version of O Holy Night. You can hear it HERE. I never really get tired of hearing this version. The second is the Christmas version of Pachelbel's Canon in D. You can hear it HERE. I love listening to Pachelbel's Canon in D. It was at our wedding too all those years ago. I must drive my husband crazy listening to all the different versions of it on You Tube. And then I kick myself for not practicing piano as a kid so I could play this.
Thanks for the comments on my previous post of Miyoko's hair colors! When I finish them up, I'll post the colors I used for her hair.

Warm Winter Wishes
Hi everyone! I have a card to share today that I made for Perfect Paper Crafting's Featured Artist of the Month. My card is up on their Facebook page.
I used this Tiddly Inks image called Winter Wryn. I actually had her colored up last Christmas! She's been sitting in my box of images for a whole year. I know that is sad so I finally got her on a card. I used my Perfect Layers ruler for all the mats including the ones around the sentiments. Snowflakes and icicle border are from CC Designs.
Here is a close up of Wryn. It's been a whole year -- I think I still color the same. No noticeable improvements.
I'll be entering this in a challenge too -- Tiddly Inks Challenge #123.
Hope you're all enjoying the weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!

A Fall Birthday
Hello! I have to post my card quick! Guess I wasn't paying much attention to when the challenge ends over at Tiddly Ink. Hope it's okay that I am entering a second card for their Fall Challenge #95.
I colored up Hanging Around Wryn and decided to turn it into a Fall birthday card. I printed out Happy Birthday and stamped the leaf from Paper Smooches multiple times and colored them. We don't really have a noticeable Fall season here. It's still pretty hot and the leaves don't change much like they do elsewhere.
We just got back from the pumpkin patch so we are dirty and dusty. But we bought our pumpkins and lots of yummy veggies and fruits from the farm. Now I need to recuperate!

Too cute to spook!
Hello! Everything is falling apart! I still haven't fixed my Big Shot. I got the handle that Sizzix sent me but it doesn't fit because the bearing is actually broken on my machine. So they are sending me that too but I don't exactly know how to change those out. We'll see cause I'm up for a tutorial soon and I wanted to do something with my Big Shot. I hope I get the parts in time.
And this morning I couldn't start up my computer. I wake up early most days just to check what's up in blogland and my monitor actually died on me. But my hubby switched my monitor out and now I'm online again. I have such a strong addiction to the internet!
Anyway, last week I colored up some Tiddly Inks Wryns but only now have some time to post one of my cards. I really missed seeing Wryn! I made the card below for Tiddly Inks current Fall Challenge #95.
I used one of the new digis called Witchy Wryn. She's cute! I used my Perfect Layer rulers to create the mats.
A close up. I wanted Wryn to have some fun purple hair.
I also followed this great sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #169.
Okay, I hope to be more productive this weekend. I have some cards to make. But we're also going to head out to the pumpkin patch this weekend. Hopefully, it's not too hot or too dusty but what am I thinking, of course it's gonna be hot and dusty. But the kids love to pick out pumpkins!
I'll be back tomorrow to share another Wryn card. Thanks for reading!

And another birthday card
Hello again. It's like feast or famine around here, I don't make anything for ages, and now I have 2 cards. But I'm posting this one now since I'm going to enter it in the Simon Says Stamp shaped card challenge. If I wait until tomorrow, I might forget or run out of time to write the blog post.
So I finally colored my Tiddly Inks Belinda. Next time I cut her out, I'm going to leave a little white border, I couldn't really cut around her fingers, legs or bag nicely. I finally colored some blondish hair, using the first color combination from Deconstructing Jen's prismacolor hair chart.
Anyhow, pretty simple card. The base is a Spellbinders scallop circle with an old Basic Grey patterned paper called Lily Kate. I added a PTI white banner layered over a spring rain banner then stamped it with a PTI birthday basics sentiment. Ideally the banner would be straight when you open the card, but I adhered the scallop circles together so a scallop was at the top (the card rolled to the side when I stood it up). There is a glitter and sheer flower attached with spellbinder daisy leaves inked with some distress ink. Then I drew in some white dots on the scallops and added stickles. OK, bye for real now!

somebunny loves you
Hi! Woohoo, another day, another card and another post! Yes, my kids are all done with summer school! No more crazy driving schedule so it's been a bit more relaxing. I stayed up later than usual to finish this card for Tiddly Ink's Challenge #91 which is a sketch and MarkerPop's Challenge #3 which is Black & White or Sepia. I think this is my very first time coloring an image totally black and white. I wasn't going to participate in the challenge cause I was nervous coloring but thought I should give it a try and jump right in. And I think I like the results so I may try it again.
I printed out Tiddly Ink's Somebunny loves you Wryn and sentiment. Then just colored with my cool gray and black Copics. I didn't think I'd use the bunny and carrot Doodlebug papers but glad I saved them. I used my Perfect Layers rulers to mat the papers and the sentiment too.
I added some Stickles to Wryn's bunny ears, hair pin and the letter Os in the sentiment. Added some stitch detailing with my Copic multiliner as well. I have to say I love how cute Wryn and those bunnies are!

U R picture perfect
Hi! Another post! We had a short power outage yesterday and gosh, darn it, didn't know what to do with myself. So I cleaned my desk and did the bills and tried to organize myself. But when the power came back on, we still didn't have internet connection. Ugh! So I looked through my digis and printed them out to color. Good thing I remembered the challenge for Tiddly Inks! I made a quick card last night for Tiddly Inks latest challenge #90 -- use Red, White and Blue.
I went with another simple design. I printed Picture Perfect Wryn onto white PTI cardstock and just folded it in half. I printed the sentiment and cut it into a fishtail banner. The U and R are die cut with PTI's alphabet dies using their felt. I actually wanted to sew the sentiment onto the card but since I don't know how to use my sewing machine, I used this rickrack ribbon to kind of give it that idea.
I colored Wryn up with Copics. I wanted to alternate the colors of the flowers on the frame but I messed up on the very second one! Geez. Then added some stickles to the flowers.
That's all for today. I have a couple of quiet hours to myself but will do the dishes, tons of laundry and prep some fruits and lunch for the kiddies.

Perfect Paper Crafting and Tiddly Inks Blog Hop!!
Hello! I'm so excited for today's blog hop with Perfect Paper Crafting and Tiddly Inks! I love Tiddly Ink's images and anything Wryn is my favorite. I had a lot of fun creating cards for today's hop. Because I don't often have time to play around with Tiddly Ink images I couldn't just stop at one card. I made 4 cards and had to force myself to move on to my other commitments!
Here are some important details about this hop. Perfect Paper Crafting will be giving away a $50 gift certificate to their online store, and Tiddly Inks is also offering up some prizes. Be sure to head to the Tiddly Inks blog for all the prize info. Visit each blog and leave comments to be eligible for these awesome prizes. Deadline to comment is Friday, June 28th at 12 AM PST.

Onto my cards.
My first card features the Summer Sweet Wryn digi. She really is perfect for summer. All the mats on this card and that follow were made using the Perfect Layers rulers. I added some Stickles on the lollipops and when it dried, I added Glossy Accents over them for more shine.
My second card features this cute doggie from the Flying High Clear Stamp Set. There are a lot of cute images in this set and I really wanted to use them all. But since this card will be going to a birthday boy I thought I'd stick with the doggie. The clouds are felt and die cut using Papertrey Ink's die as well as the number 5.
My third card is a small card and features Celebrate Joyfully Clear Stamp Set. It's really easy to make cards of all sizes with the Perfect Layers rulers.
My last card features the Loving Pixie digi. The sentiment comes from the stamp set I used on my 3rd card. I really love this sweet image. I just wanted to show how easy it is to make varying width mats too with the Perfect Layers rulers. I used different rulers to create thinner mats and then thicker ones. It doesn't always have to be the same and even all around.
Next on the hop is Jeanne!
Enjoy the hop, and thank you for stopping by!

Doomo Arigato, Mr. Roboto
Hi! Tiddly Inks challenge #88 is to create a Father's Day or masculine card. So I thought this was difficult since I mostly have Wryn images from Tiddly Inks. Hehe. So I went to search what kind of cute, boyish things I could find. And I was thrilled to find this cute digi robot called Roboto.
I kept this card pretty simple since that is what my hubby likes. Clean and simple and cute. I scored the card above and below the DP for some interest. The letters and the orange dots are rub ons from American Crafts. My letters are a bit off though but I think it's still cute.
So of course the name of this digi totally reminds me of the song, Doomo Arigato, Mr. Roboto. And it's kind of an inside joke in our family so it was perfect as a father's day card for the kiddies to give their daddy. It's also the first card I think I've ever made for my hubby! I wasn't sure if I should blog it already but I guess it's okay if he sees it early. Then I'll know if he really reads my blog. Please act surprise when the kiddies give it to you!
Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!

Have a fairy sweet day!
Hi! After I cleaned my desk I found this sweet Tiddly Inks Wryn -- Fairy Friends all printed out and waiting for me to color her up for Sweet Stamping Pixies Challenge #3 -- fave fairy/pixie and Tiddly Inks Challenge #87 -- flowers. Wryn is such a cutie and I love her as a fairy, definitely one of my favorites!
This card came out so much larger than I intended! Just about 6.25 inches. The front is about an inch or so larger than the folded card itself. But I really didn't want to shrink it. I used my Perfect Layers rulers for all the mats. Definitely helps when I'm feeling lazy to get up and use my paper cutter. I don't have a scallop square that large either so I just cut 2 and layered it and covered the corners with flowers and the sentiment. I rounded the corners too as advised by my daughter! I think I agree that it looks better like that!
Added some stickles to her wings, flowers and the butterflies. Colored in some clear rhinestones with my orange Copic. I added some blue chalk in the background but that's hard to see. I also extended the grass too with my black Copic multiliner.
My hubby is too logical sometimes asking me why she is smaller than the mushroom but larger than the butterflies and snail. I don't know. Does everything have to make sense? He is also the one to point out that my highlights are in the wrong place. But really, I just want to color and make stuff that's cute without having to think if there is a right or wrong way. I think Kim Hughes from Paper Smooches had mentioned something about not having a wrong way to create cards. And that's what I try to remind myself, to have more fun and less stress designing a card. Cause really, who needs more stress??
Thanks so much reading!
Happy Mother's Day, BFF!
Hi! Happy Mother's Day! I am trying really hard to do as little as possible, not just tomorrow but the whole weekend. I even got my hubby to wash the dishes last night by giving him a major guilt trip and I went to bed at 9:30. Haha! I spent most of today working on a Mother's Day card for my co-blogger BFF. We've known each other a long time, over 20 years now!
So, I Copic colored Tiddly Inks Wryn and Emmy. Aren't they cute?! Guess which one is Cheryl? Her complexion is pretty fair so she's Emmy and I'm Wryn. Haha! I tried to color Emmy's skin lighter than Wryn and I think I like that skin tone combo. I also used my Perfect Layers rulers to mat the image in pink and then a little bit wider in green.
The sentiments and the tiny tags are from PTI. I added a whole bunch of flowers and pearls and a bit of twine. I intentionally colored their shoes in the same colors. Cheryl and I used to shop a lot together and we'd buy similar if not the exact same things. I remember we bought the same kind of shoes! They were really high and cute. Gosh, I don't wear stuff like that anymore.
I'll be entering this in Tiddly Inks Challenge #86 -- Mom or Feminine card and Ribbon Carousel 52 -- Word to Your Mother.
And before I end this post, I wanted to share what my middle one gave to me the other day.
He's such a sweet little boy, always trying to cheer me up!
Hope you're enjoying this Mother's Day weekend! Thanks for reading!

You are so fairy sweet!
Hi! Happy Sunday! Last night I finished up this Wryn card to play along with Tiddly Inks Challenge 85 -- A million ways to say thank you. Wryn is just so super sweet! There are some images that just make me happy when I'm coloring them and this is one of them. She is just so cute and happy.
I used Fairy Wishes Wryn and the frame from Tiddly Inks. I used 2 Tiddly Inks sentiments and placed them in the frame too.
I added some, okay, maybe LOTS of stickles on her wings and the roses and her wand.
Added some ribbon and a rose (with stickles) and more stickles on the roses around the frame.
Pretty simple card. Just had fun coloring. Thanks for reading!

rainbow hearts
Hi! Feels like a while since I made anything. I've been taking a break from crafting and went on a field trip with my son and his class. I even got my haircut and did a bit of window shopping yesterday at the mall. I finally finished up a card last night for Tiddly Inks photo inspiration challenge (with a subtle 2). You can click on the link to see the photo. Rainbow colors! That's what I went with.
I chose Heartfelt Love cause I love Wryn and those hanging hearts! Colored the hearts in rainbow colors and yes, I have to admit I forgot about the subtle 2 part til the end and thought darn it, what about subtle 3? Like 3 hearts and 3 rhinestones? Okay, so I had just tied the twine on so I just looped it around again for the 2. And there are also the 2 rows of polka dots around the image. I also rounded the bottom corners of this card.
I knew I wanted to color the hearts all rainbow-y so I started looking for a sentiment or a quote about rainbows and hearts and found the one above that I printed out too. There is a second line to the quote as well -- You know you're a part of that colorful, magical, feeling you'll find, when you have a rainbow inside. But I opted to leave that part out cause I didn't quite get it. Anyway, it was an anonymous quote that I thought fit in nicely with the image. The quote can be found HERE.
This was a nice and simple card for me. Kind of relaxing to just color, add a few embellishments and be done. Thanks for reading!

Another Birthday Card
Hello. Ack, I told myself I'm not supposed to be spending too much time doing hobby stuff, but I couldn't help it. I used the latest sketch from Card Patterns #158.
Used a Lilli Claire digital stamp from Tiddly Inks. I couldn't quite follow the bow and flower placement without it looking too unbalanced or something.
Cardstock is from Papertrey Ink, patterned paper is Prima Marketing. Colored the skin with Copics, the rest with Prismacolor pencils. Added distress ink around the image, got a little too overzealous, tried to use the flower to cover that overdone corner. I think it was too dark in my room and I couldn't tell how much ink was getting on there.
Tried out my new Impression Plate from Papertrey Ink on the half lacey circle from Spellbinders, if you can tell in the close up. I still don't know if I've figured out the optimal sandwich, but I think it worked pretty well once I sprayed the cardstock. First I tried water, but it warped the paper. I think I read somewhere on the PTI forum about using alcohol, so I sprayed some rubbing alcohol and it seemed to warp less. Maybe if I hadn't been so impatient and tried heating it with my heat gun, it would have stayed flatter.
I'm also going to enter this in the Lily Pad flower challenge, although now after reading the fine print, it's mostly to pass along to other people who may want to enter as I see it's a judged contest...
Bye!

Kiki
Hi! I just checked out Tiddly Inks new Wryns! Oh so cute! Especially that Whatcha Doin'? one. Tempted again! Man, this stamp diet is just as difficult as a food diet. So hard to keep to it.
Anyway, I made a little card to play along with iCopic Challenge #70--animals and the deconstructed sketch #39.
I used Tiddly Inks Kiki. It's a free one so I don't feel too bad and it's so cute! I printed out a large one for my youngest one to color. He was done in about a minute. He drew grass and flowers too.
It feels like I'm cheating a little since I didn't really color Kiki much but she's a Shih tzu. Aren't they mostly white? I just added in some cool gray colors with my Copics around the face and some along her body. Hope that's OK since I still wanted to play along in the challenge. Oh, the paw prints are from Paper Smooches Chubby Chums.
Short post today. Hope you all had a great holiday weekend! Thanks for reading!
