All That Scraps January Preview

Hello!  It's the start of All That Scraps January Preview!  Today is Day 1 and I'm sharing some cute Meoples!  I love these Meoples!  They are so fast to color and you can make some fast cards!

This is the first card I have to share.  There are 3 images total in this Meoples set called Lucky Rainbow.  These are 2 of them.  The sentiments are from Lucky Sentiments.  I fussy cut them out and popped them up on this Reverse Wonky Rectangles card.

This is the third image from the Lucky Rainbow set.  Isn't she cute too?  This sentiment is also from Lucky Sentiments.  I used the Lucky Charms die set too which includes both four leaf clovers I used on this card and a horseshoe die.

Be sure to check out the rest of the DT's creations!  And link up in the January Banner Blog Giveaway too.

Thanks for reading and I'll be back tomorrow for another preview!

Naughty or Nice????

Hello!  I have a terrible addiction these days.  Not to stamping or coloring or card making but to watching The Vampire Dairies.  Anyone watch that?  I started watching the episodes while I was walking on my treadmill.  Kind of needed something to past the time while I pretended to exercise.  Now I'm totally hooked.  But it's bad because now I just watch that instead of exercising.  It's so much more enjoyable just to watch something without having to sweat.  So I may be falling a tad behind on crafting.  Hehe.  I will have to force myself back to reality soon.

Here are a couple of post it covers that I made.  You might have seen it at All That Scraps recently.

They're a little different looking.  The one on the left has a little notch in it.  I made that one first after I had seen a little note thingy that we got in the mail.  I liked the idea of the pen being tucked inside like that and I just copied it including that notch.  But then I realized I don't really need that notch so I took it out of the second one that I made which is on the right.  I like it better just square and it's much easier to make.

I put the Naughty or Nice? sentiment from CC Designs Funny Christmas Sayings on the spine.  Thought it would be cute to use these for list making.  Santa is also from CC Designs Meoples No Peeking.

Here's view of the inside.  Bought these pens from where else, Walmart!

Another view.

I'm looking forward to this week.  I love eating turkey but only for Thanksgiving!  And maybe Christmas.  I plan on cooking so I'm actually starting tomorrow.

By the way, I also have a post up at Yumi & Fumi Handmade Crafts featuring some of the new winter themed stamps which will be released on November 26th.

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

All That Scraps October Preview -- Day 1

Hi again!  So excited to start previews for All That Scraps October release!  This release is so incredibly cute.  I don't know how you'll resist these cute stamps!

These little guys are called Meoples and this set is called No Peeking.  Aren't they super cute!  I love the Gingerbread Man and the reindeer especially.  They are the perfect size to make little to/from tags for Christmas!  Don't they look so happy?  They make me smile.  The sentiment is just one of many in the Scripted Greetings Fanciful Christmas set which is also being released in October.  There are so many wonderful sentiments in this set that can be used alone or to complement an image.

Please check out the ATS blog for more cuteness!  Trust me, you'll want to see the other cute images being previewed today!

Thanks for reading!

CC Designs September Review -- Circus

Hello!  Time for a Circus review at CC Designs.  There were lots of fun circus themed stamps released this month.  So fun for birthdays and even Halloween.

This is my circle shaped card featuring the Meoples Clownin' Around.  I loved this sentiment from AmyR Circus Sentiments so I wanted this clown balancing on a ball.

Here is a close up of the circus clown.

Please head over to CC Designs blog to see more circus themed inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by!

CC Designs September Preview -- Circus

Hello!  Today is the last day of previews over at CC Designs.  These cute images will be released September 5th at 9 PM EST.  The last theme to preview is Circus.

This cute stamp is part of Clownin Around.  Meoples make some cute clowns.  I found this circus template online HERE and thought it would be a cute card.  I increased the size just a bit before printing it out.  The sentiment is from AmyR Circus Sentiments and is stamped on CC Cutters Banner Day die.  I was just happy I could use my pom pom ribbon again.  Haven't used that in a while.

Here's a close up of the little Meople clown.  This one is a juggler.

The card opens up and you see 2 more clowns.  I'm thinking one is more of a tight rope walker.  At least that is what she looks like to me.  I added another sentiment to the inside as well.

Close up of these Meoples.

Please check out more Circus themed projects on the CC Designs blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

CC Designs August Review -- Meoples!

Hi everyone!  Time for review of CC Designs August release!  Today I've got a cute Meoples card to share.

This is called Meoples Ghost Spooky.  They are super cute!  I didn't do much coloring on this card at all.  I paper pieced the Spooky letters.  The spider is from Oct 31 Accessories.  I stamped the spider over the paper and pieced just his head on after coloring it.  I traced over his legs with some glitter gel pen to give them more definition since they were getting lost on the web.

A little close up of the ghosts.

And a close up of the spider.

Please check out more creations by the DT HERE.

Before I go, thank you to everyone for your comments on my previous post about Mean Moms!  I think if I can get through August, then it should get better because I'm hoping I'll have less contact with them after that.

Thank you for reading!  Hope everyone has a wonderful week!  Oh, my youngest will start Kindergarten this week!  So excited and a little worried too.

Perpetual Calendar

Hi everyone!  I have a tutorial up over at CC Designs Rubber Stamps blog (formerly All That Scraps).  Head on over there to see how I made this cute perpetual calendar.

All That Scraps June Review -- CC Designs

Hi!  Thanks for all the birthday wishes for my youngest.  I think he got everything he wanted though sometimes his wish list is never ending.  Just like my crafty wish list.

Today is a review of CC Designs over at All That Scraps.  I really love this month's summer and princess themed stamps.

I made these little favor boxes using Meoples' Once Upon.  Aren't they cute!  I thought these could be used as table decorations and favors for a little princess party.  I left the top of the box unsealed so it can be opened.

Here's the cute unicorn.  The boxes were all made from CC Designs Cube Box die.  The sentiment is from AmyR's Simply Enchanting Sentiments.

Here's the knight in shining armor!  I made the little flags from the Frilly Banner die.  The 5th is cut from the Mini Alpha & Numbers die.

Here is the adorable dragon.  This sentiment is also from AmyR's Simply Enchanting Sentiments.  The flag pole is just a simple skewer that I cut to size and wrapped with washi tape.

Here is the little princess!  The sentiment here is from Webbie's Words Baby Cakes Sentiments.  It was the perfect size to fit onto the banner.

Here is a picture of the top of the boxes.  I punched a small hole for the skewer to slide through.  Simple!

Please head over to All That Scraps blog for more inspiration!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

CC Designs Birthday Blog Hop Winner & April Review -- Meoples!

Hello!  Before I share my CC Designs April Review project, I want to announce the winner of the $7 gift certificate from my blog.  The random winner is ...

 Creations by Shirl!!!

Yay!  Shirl, please email Christine at christine@ccdesignsrubberstamps.com with Blog Hop Winner in the subject line.

Here is a set of birthday tags I made with the Meoples HB2U.  The small sentiment is from AmyR Great Birthday Greetings.

Here is a closer view of the girls.  I thought it would be good to have some of these birthday tags handy when my kids' classmates have parties.  I'm always looking for some kind of card or tag that would be appropriate.  You would think I'd have lots of leftover cards but sometimes I have a hard time parting with them!

Here is a closer view of the other 2 tags.  All papers are from Doodlebug.

Before I go, I wanted to let you all know that this will be my last CC Designs post as I've decided to step down from this design team.  I've enjoyed my time on this team creating with some of the cutest stamps.  But it's time for me to concentrate on other endeavors.

Thanks so much for reading!

CC Designs April Preview -- Meoples

Hello!  Wow, is it already time for another CC Designs preview?  Amazing that we are heading into April.  There are some cute birthday themed stamps coming your way this month.

I used Meoples HB2U for this little card.  Aren't they cute?  The four characters come together in this little stamp set.  The sentiments are nice and big and are from Great Birthday Greetings.  I used CC Cutters Say Cheese die for the photo look.

Please head over to the CC Designs blog to see more of the preview.

I'll keep this post short and sweet.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

All That Scraps February Review

Hello!  I know that a lot of you think the Meoples are cute.  And last month there were cute baby Meoples!  I really didn't think they could get cuter than that.  But I was so wrong cause this month, there is a new batch of Meoples.  Have you seen them?  Asian Meoples!  Plus a cute little panda!

Here is my easel card with calendar.  Aren't they super cute?  Especially that little panda?  I didn't want to just make an easel card.  Thought it should be somewhat functional and I had this extra calendar so I stuck it on.  There's still a good few months to go.  Next to the calendar is the newly released Cherry Blossom die cuts.

Here's a close up.  The sentiment is from Eggstra Special Sentiments.  I have CC Designs grass border on there too.

I also used the Line of Lanterns stamp and die.  I stamped the lanterns first and colored/outlined them with my Copics.  Then I used the die to cut them out on vellum.  I trimmed the vellum and then glued them over the stamped image to give them a more transparent look.

This is the side view.  It has a little step to it.

Please head over to the ATS blog for more of the review!

Thanks so much for reading!

All That Scraps January Review

Hello!  Today is a review day of CC Design stamps over at All That Scraps.  I had a hard time deciding which image to choose for today's post.  So of course I picked one of the Meoples.

This cutie is one of 3 images from the Lucky Rainbow set.  The sentiment is from Lucky Sentiments.  These images are pretty versatile even for non-St. Patrick Day's cards.  I like that the sentiments aren't only for St. Patrick's Day either.  It makes a great friend card!  The horseshoe is a die from the Lucky Charms set.  And for all you local Hawaii pidgin speakers, it does not say U Lucky to be my friend as my hubby had to say it.  Man, after that I kept thinking if I should change the horseshoe around.

A close up.  She's so smile-y.

Check out the ATS blog for more cute inspiration!

I am trying to get back into the routine of things with the kids going back to school.  I have a little bit more time and because there aren't new episodes of The Vampire Diaries yet, I started reading the books.  Lots of changes!  I like the TV show better.  And Elena is much better as a brunette than a blonde.

Anyway, thanks for reading!

All That Scraps January Preview

Hello again!  It's a gloomy, rainy morning today.  My daughter went back to school today and my boys will tomorrow.  So no more hanging out in my PJs all day and it's back to fixing my hair all decent.  It was so nice just to veg for a few days.  Not fun to be in the rain though.  It was so sunny the past few days up until New Year's Day.

This is the last day of previews for All That Scraps January release.  I love all the baby images.  Today is a preview of Webbies Words.

I made another set of notecards to feature the sentiments that come in Webbies Words Baby Cakes.  The sentiments go along so nicely with these images called Baby Burps.  And yes, they are baby Meoples!  Is there anything cuter?!

Here is a girly version.

A boyish one.  I love this one!  The sentiment comes all in one but I selectively stamped them so that it would fit better on my small card.

And here's one for those that like to wait and be surprised.  I wasn't one of those.  I had to know the gender of our babies ahead of time!  I love these little baby Meoples!

Please head over to the ATS blog for more cuteness!
