Hi! Wow, so my first PTI blog hop yesterday was fun! Thanks for all the sweet comments! There were lots of pretty and amazing tags made by other bloggers. I tried to check out as many blogs as I could yesterday in between cooking and eating and eating some more. It's the first time I had to cook a whole Thanksgiving dinner for my family. And we learned that rubbing a whole stick of butter inside and outside of the turkey really does make it moist. We cooked it in the bag and it was really simple and yummy.
I made these little metal bookmarks following Nicole Heady's tutorial. Some will be Xmas gifts for teachers and some for family. I think I like the silver one the best.
I used the Book Print Impression Plate before die cutting it with the bookmark topper die for some of these bookmarks. All the felt is from PTI. I love PTI felt! I think I have almost one of every color.
Before I go, I wanted to thank my November OCS partner, Lorraine, for the very pretty card she sent me. The card was so detailed! And she even sent me some goodies! A little holiday planner notepad--I love making these too. And a small photo album too! She's a huge PTI fan too.
Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!

August OCS
Wow, I haven't posted a project in a while. It was a busy month for buying but not for creating. I really do miss crafting and I can't wait to make something with some of the new stamps I bought. TGF's new September releases are so cute too especially that little Ian.
I did barely have some time to create a card for the August OCS that I signed up for over at Linda's blog HERE. The challenge was to create an Asian inspired card. So I used the Four Dolls stamp set from Hero Arts that Cheryl bought me a while back. This is the first time I tried making a shaped card too.
I had some left over washi paper and I finally got to use the Martha Stewart punch.
Also made a bookmark. I used the bookmark die from PTI. It came out pretty sturdy since I layered 2 pieces of cardstock and the washi paper on top.
By the way, Sunghee has a new store! Little Potato House--what a cute name! I can't wait to see more of her templates.
Thanks for reading and have a great day!

My First OCS
I decided to participate in a One Card Swap for the month of July. It is organized by Linda over at Simple and Sassy Creations. I was paired up with Denise at Tinker Crafts who sent me this very pretty and detailed card.
She even included a package of cute stamps! So thoughtful! There was a bit of a challenge to it in that we were supposed to use words as our main focal point.
This is the card I sent to Denise. I totally got the idea from Nicole Heady. You can see the card I was inspired by HERE. It uses PTI's All About You stamp set. I really wanted to stick a cute picture on there from TGF or something. Like Hope and Grace would look so pretty in the middle of those flowers. So it was challenging to make words the main focus. I also made Denise felt flowers from PTI felt and the Beautiful Blooms die but I didn't take a picture of those. Oh well ...
I had fun with this OCS so I signed up for August as well. Plus it's nice to meet other bloggers and discover their blogs too. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
