Hi! I wanted to play along with TGF's Monday Fun-day #13 Sing a Song. I decided to go with Baby by Justin Bieber. My kids loved that song and would watch it on You Tube all the time so for a while they were Beliebers. But there is a version of that song on You Tube that I like. If you're interested, click the video.
On to my card.
I used My Guy Ian for Justin (before he cut all his hair) and Miss Anya Hats Off for the girl in his Baby video. I used the Spellbinders heart circles (thanks, Cheryl!). The hearts are so cute!! I added some flowers too. Sometimes I forget to use all the flowers that I have. I added some stickles on them as well.
I decided to make a double z-fold card. The tutorial is HERE. I found more paper with musical notes and added the lyrics to Baby on it so yet another project with a musical theme.

Thanks so much, TGF!
Hi everyone! So today I posted my last entry for The Greeting Farm. It's mostly sad but I do get to have more time now. Maybe I'll crochet something. That would be relaxing. I still have a bunch of yarn that I bought thinking I could make a hat or something. I'll have to get back to that.
I made a little thank you card for Marie and Jess of TGF for letting me be a part of the DT. My very first DT. This gal is from an old TGF set called Hope & Grace. I actually won my first TGF challenge using her on a card. I hope my coloring skills have improved since then!
My kids are starting to get the hang of this vacation. My boys woke up at 8 this morning! Sadly I was already awake. I was anticipating their early wake up and started breakfast. I think tomorrow the kids and I will be making some gingerbread men ornaments.

TGF 3rd Annual Customer Blog Hop
Hi! After finishing up these 2 projects for TGF's Blog Hop, I've come to realize that I am kind of addicted to stamps, especially TGF stamps. Hehe. Okay, I will not babble on too much since there are lots of other blogs to check out as well. I made something for both categories, Holiday and General.
First up is my Holiday card.
I recently acquired Hippie Anya! She inspired me to make a "peace" card for the holidays.
But then I had to add Fleur Anya for "love" ...
and 80s Anya for "joy." So great that these stamps could be turned into something Christmas-y.
My General project has been swimming in my mind ever since I made that counting book a while back with TGF stamps as well. I thought I could make an ABC book too. But I didn't make this into a book. More like flashcards, I suppose. My youngest has a hard time recognizing lower case letters so I thought this would be fun for him.
All stamps are TGF. I colored in just the part I wanted to emphasize. I know, I have a lot of stamps!
Some letters were hard. Like "n." I don't have Nurse Anya! So I used Amelia's necklace. V is for valentine, X for Xmas, and I turned the horse from McSplendid Farm into a zebra. Though my kids will say it's a horse with stripes. I'm also glad I had Sing for her ukulele, and Princess Anya is a queen.
I added all the cards onto a ring and also added a piece of clear cardstock to use with a dry erase marker.
I thought maybe my youngest could practice writing the letters too on the clear cardstock and then erase it. (The blue one was out of ink). The letters were cut out using PTI's alphabet dies.
That's it for me. Thanks so much for visiting!

TGF's December Retro-Fresh!
Hello! Back again to share TGF's December Retro-Fresh challenge. This month is to create a Christmas/Holiday card using non-traditional colors. I made 2 cards. The first was a mistake because I forgot that it was retro-fresh and the stamp I used was a new one, not at least 6 months old. So I made another one in the same style.
This was my first card but I used WS James! Everything is heat embossed in white onto black cardstock. That's pretty non-traditional right? The sentiments are from CC Designs.
Here's my second one that has WS Ryan. Same but different.
Check out TGF's blog for more non-traditional Christmas/Holiday cards!

TGF's Double Take Tuesday -- Rainbow Colors!
Hello! Here's a fun color challenge for you! TGF's Double Take Tuesday is to use Rainbow colors!
Here is Rainbow Twinkle Bean! I knew Twinkle Bean would be adorable in Rainbow colors cause I had seen Denice color her Twinkle Bean like a rainbow too! That inspired me to give it a try. Thanks, Denice! I used ROYGBIV but switched out the indigo with pink. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado Kids' Quotes and heat embossed in white. I added bling in rainbow colors but I colored some of the rhinestones with my Copics to match. This is a small card.
Please head over to TGF to check out more Rainbow creations!

Sweet Anya Birthday
Here's another Saturday Sketch card! So sad, my motivation for cardmaking is usually needing one pronto for an upcoming birthday.
I used Sweet Anya that I recently got from the sale at Die Cuts R Us. Again, followed the sketch pretty closely, except for the ribbon. I had already stuck the papers down when I realized hmmm, now I can't fold any ribbon over the corners. So I used some Quickutz photo turn die cuts with some little gems as the anchors. Hopefully they don't fall off in the mail.
The patterned paper and buttons are from the Basic Grey Two Scoops collection. I got the matching Bazzill cardstock from Embellish It. I colored with prismacolor pencils again, the usual for the skin and brown hair, Muted Turquoise for the pants, Jasmine for the shirt, Pink Rose for the ruffly tank, and Raspberry for the trim.

Hello! I am hosting TGF's Double-Take Tuesday for this week! I made a sketch. Only the second sketch I've created in my entire life. It's pretty simple so hope you can give it a try.
So I used James for my sketch. The sentiment is from TGF's Sweet & Toxic set. I used my Perfect Layers rulers for the black mats.
After I colored him up, I thought he reminded me a bit of Damon from The Vampire Diaries! Yeah, a sign that I'm watching too much of that show. But it's kind of addictive. I'm somewhere in the middle of the 3rd season.
Alright, please check out TGF's blog for more challenge inspiration and details!

TGF's Farm Fresh Friday -- Cinema!
Hello! I'm taking a break from Thanksgiving cooking for a quick post. It's time for a new Farm Fresh Friday and Sara is hosting a challenge based on your favorite movie.
I've made a few cards before based on movies so I was kind of stuck on thinking of another movie since I hardly watch movies in the first place. But finally I was inspired to make this one.
Can you guess the movie? I used Anya Styles to represent Carrie from Sex and the City. The background is MFT's Skyline Border die. I thought about making the rest of the girls too but yeah, I am totally too into the second season of The Vampire Diaries. I may catch up to the current season soon.
Okay, I'm going back to turkey duty.

TGF's Double Take Tuesday!
Hi! Today is another color challenge over at TGF's Double Take Tuesday! Here are the colors: frost blue, sage green, white and baby pink.
I have to admit that I thought these colors were a bit hard. I actually looked up sage green. Haha. And had to think about frost blue as well. But similar colors are fine so don't let that hold you back from jumping into the challenge.
I decided to use Holiday Anya 2. She is very festive looking with her big bow.
Please hop over to TGF's blog for more inspiration!

TGF's Farm Fresh Friday -- Twilight or Fantasy
Hello! It is time for another fun Farm Fresh Friday! This week Jess Diedrich is challenging us to create projects inspired by the Twilight series or Fantasy if you're not into Twilight.
Okay, I don't think I'm necessarily Twilight crazy. Like I won't stand in a super long line for the movie to open or watch all of them in a row in the theatre. My butt would get sore for one thing. I would watch them all at home where I can just be comfy in my own living room and pause to use the bathroom freely and eat when I'm hungry. As a whole I liked the books and the movies so I made a Twilight inspired card using the new James and Sadie. The quote on the bottom I found online since there are like a million Twilight things. The forever is a small portion of a longer sentiment stamp from PTI. I kind of created this card after I had seen some of the movie posters online. They had forever printed on some of them.
I am so waiting for next week when the kids are off and I don't have to drive as much. And the shopping! I love to see what's on sale though I might not necessarily buy anything at all.

TGF's "Pay it Forward" Thanksgiving Challenge!
Hello!!! Marie and Jess at The Greeting Farm have come up with a wonderful way to show their gratitude and want to "Pay it Forward" this Thanksgiving. The DT has joined along by creating projects with a Thankful/gratitude theme.
I used the super sweet Snuggle stamp for my card. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.
A close up. I love these image!
Here are the details!
HOW to enter:
Create a card or project using TGF Stamps and post it to InLinkz on TGF's blog.
PAY IT FORWARD:
Once you enter your card, please send Jessica a private email at yeahshesnaps at icloud. com and NOMINATE a person you know that might be struggling or going through something hard this year. This can be a person who's been a little down on their luck, struggling financially, going through something tough, lost job, etc. TGF will NOT share the recipient you choose- this will be done in private.
However, based on the responses, one recipient will be drawn and the person who nominates them will also win a prize. The player will be announced, but their nomination won't, if that makes sense
PRIZE:
The lucky winner whose nomination is chosen will receive a 4x6 set of choice from TGF as a thank you for participating in the challenge.
The "Paying it Forward" recipient will win:
2 4x6 stamp sets from TGF
1 single stamp from TGF (these have already been put aside)
Ink
Acrylic Block
Asstd. cardstock and 6x6 papers
Asstd. Embellishments
...and a few more surprises
PLEASE spread the word on Facebook, Twitter, by email, etc. when you can. We want to make this BIG and really want to spread an attitude of gratitude around everyone this holiday season.
DEADLINE:
You have until Wed. Nov. 21, at 10pm CST to enter your card and email Jessica. The winner will be announced sometime on Thanksgiving Day as we enjoy the day with family looking back on all we have to be grateful for. How awesome it will feel knowing that someone will be kicking off their holidays with a little pick me up from TGF?!
Sound exciting? Thanks for reading!

Birthday Blessings
Hi! So I wanted to share something that I made for TGF's December guest challenge. Yes, even though I wasn't going to participate, I made a card like a couple days before the deadline. Even though I had some more Lego stuff to do, I just quickly put something together. I don't know, maybe I didn't learn my lesson the first time about these facebook voting challenges. Somehow these contests are just not that nice to me.
Here's my little card. Actually it's not that little since the number one is kind of tall and I increased the size of the digital stamp. I freehand drew and cut the one out. I thought this was a different and fun kind of shaped card. Sad to say, I only got 3 votes. :( I'll go wallow in self-pity now for a little bit before moving on.

Teacher Gifts for Xmas 2010
If these look familiar it's because I made the same little desk caddies for my kids' teachers last year too. See HERE. These are made from Lauren Meader's template over at PTI. See HERE. And speaking of PTI, I can't wait until their November release! I think I say that every month. I can't believe all the cute sets and dies they come out with. I think I've really gotten my monies worth with this template.
This one is for my son's kindergarten teacher who was also my daughter's kindergarten teacher so we couldn't be happier. She is a great teacher and hopefully she will be there for our youngest one too. Stamp is Teacher Anya from TGF and paper is from October Afternoon. I used PTI's spiral note paper die and their School Time stamp set for the handwriting lines and the bus. I lightly penciled in the teacher's name and my son traced over it just to make sure her whole name would fit. You know how kids tend to squeeze the last letters in cause they run out of space. I decided to blur out the teachers' names in the photos.
This one is for my daughter's GT teacher who is so supportive and loving. My daughter really enjoys her class. Paper is from Imaginisce.
The last one is for my daughter's main teacher. She is strict but my daughter learns a lot from her about responsibility. I love this school paper from Crate Paper and really had to force myself to use it. I have to tell myself to actually use the paper I buy, not just stare at it.
I am still working on the gifts to place inside these little caddies. So much to do before Xmas!
Thank you for reading and have a great weekend!
